Africa Mbele has a strict refund policy and, for reporting purposes, needs verification that a cancellation attempt was previously made, received, and confirmed with our headquarters to process a refund. Our system logs the emails and phone numbers that have contacted our team and we review these logs to confirm if a cancellation attempt was made. If we find that a cancellation attempt was made and not honoured, we will refund the donor for each successful payment after the cancellation was confirmed.
Unless in the event of fraud or administrative error, we do not refund first pledge payments or refunds beyond 3 months. Authorization from the donor for new pledge accounts requires a signature that we store in our records and can be provided when requested.
